You’ve got the ideas. You just need someone to tell you: whether it’ll work, how, when and how much it’ll cost

You know what you want. Perhaps you’ve already tried using AI, a supplier or your own team. But you’d like to carry out an honest reality check. What’s brilliant? What won’t work. What’s the shortest route from idea to reality. And what it will actually cost to build and run.

Does this sound familiar: you’re getting conflicting answers?

The supplier says one thing. Your team says something else. AI agrees with everything. You’re thinking: who’s right?
Is my idea technically feasible?

You’ve received three different answers from three different sources. You need someone who’s actually built it before and can give you an honest answer.

What does it actually cost?

Not just development. Operation, maintenance, updates, security. The full price that nobody else mentions.

How quickly can this be done?

You’ve been given one quote that sounds too good to be true and another that sounds too expensive. The truth lies somewhere in between, and it takes experience to find it.

Can we reuse any of what we already have?

Perhaps. Most companies buy new equipment without realising what their existing systems are capable of. I’ll find out.

Can we do it in stages?

Almost always. But the order determines whether it succeeds or fails. It requires someone who has seen both outcomes.

Who’s right?

No one has the definitive answer. Engineering is the art of compromise and approximation. That’s why aeroplanes fly. But you need someone who understands the trade-offs well enough to make the right choices.

What you’ll get out of 2 hours

Honest answer: is your idea viable?

I say yes when it's yes. I say no when it's no. Suppliers say yes to anything they can bill you for. AI is just happy. I have no interest in selling you something you don't need.

How, when and how much it costs

In practical terms: here’s how you do it, how long it takes, and here’s what it costs to build AND run. Including the maintenance bill that nobody else mentions.

A reality check from someone who does this every day

I build, deploy, and run systems for companies every single day. When I say “this works,” it’s because I’ve done it. When I say “this crashes,” it’s because I’ve seen it crash.

The kind of pushback you won’t get anywhere else

I’ll tell you what’s brilliant and what isn’t. I’ll put your ideas into context with 20 years’ experience from companies that have been in exactly the same position as you are now. That’s the part AI can’t do, because it’s never had to face the consequences.

What you’ll take home with you

After the 2-hour consultation, you’ll leave with concrete resources – not vague advice.
PDF report

Written in your language. Everything we went through, all the recommendations, prioritised. You’ll have it in black and white, so you don’t have to remember anything from the session. Perfect as a basis for decision-making when presenting to the board or partners.

Review video

I go through the report on video and explain the findings. Share it with your team, your board or other stakeholders who weren’t present. They’ll get the full picture without needing an extra meeting.

IT guidance (optional)

The same recommendations and conclusions, translated into technical language. Action points that your IT staff or supplier can carry out straight away. No metaphors, just instructions.

30-day follow-up

Within 30 days of the session, you can email me any follow-up questions. Things that come up as you start to act on the report. Short answers, no extra invoice.

What my clients say

Michal combines in-depth technical knowledge with a level of reliability that is rarely seen. He also has a strong understanding of our business, which makes him a valuable sparring partner who always thinks beyond the technical solution. He has been with us for over 10 years. That alone tells the whole story.

Ralf de BruijnManaging Director

What makes Michal special is his outstanding business acumen and ability to develop solutions – in complex environments – that ensure clarity and efficient workflows.

Jacob RichterHead of Business Integration

I have been working with Michal for over 10 years. He has developed a data collection system for waterworks on our behalf. The product was the first system on the market capable of collecting data from waterworks and presenting it online. The service has been second to none, even when things got difficult.

Christian ChristiansenCEO

Michal has built and maintained our infrastructure for over 10 years. His expertise and availability are invaluable to us.

Jimmi FlatovIT Director

Michał combines technology and business like no one else I’ve worked with. He spots connections that others overlook and develops solutions that actually work.

Anna OszajcaOwner

We have been working with Michal since 2012. He has built and continuously developed our entire booking portal platform. As well as always being available, he is reliable, an excellent sounding board and consistently comes up with good ideas for the further development of our platform.

Jesper GlæemoseOwner

Michal has a keen eye for spotting problems and obvious opportunities, as well as the necessary knowledge to subsequently deliver on what he has promised.

AI hasn’t reduced the need for judgement – it has increased the cost of not having it.

Who am I and why choose me?

My name is Michal Dobroczynski and I build, deploy and run systems for businesses. Every day. Still. That’s my day-to-day work, not something I did 10 years ago.

  • Over 20 years’ experience: infrastructure, development, security, operations, business strategy
  • Built and sold a SaaS business with over 100 customers (co-founder)
  • I consult and implement – every day – for real businesses
  • I’m independent
  • DISC D3 certified: I understand why people react the way they do and can communicate with everyone in a company
  • I speak 4 languages (DA/EN/PL/ES): is your company international? Then I’ll fit right in.

Questions?

What’s the difference between a consultation and an exploratorium?

A consultation identifies what’s wrong. An exploratorium takes your ideas and puts them through a reality check. Same format, same price, different starting point. If you have problems: book a consultation. If you have ideas: book an exploratorium.

Can I speak to you before I pay?

Yes. Book a free 30-minute chat. No obligations.

What if my idea is a bad one?

Then I’ll tell you. Straight away. But in 20 years, I’ve rarely come across bad ideas. I’ve come across ideas that lacked direction, prioritisation and someone capable of assessing the consequences. That’s my job.

Do you also carry out the work afterwards?

Not in this session. But my recommendations are specific enough for your team or a supplier to implement. And for regular clients, I build and run systems on a daily basis.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

Go on, use it. Seriously. But don’t deploy the result without someone who’s been doing this for 20 years having had a look at it. AI generates. I validate.

Is two hours enough?

Quote from a participant: “It was actually more thorough than I’d expected.” Two focused hours of preparation yield more than most full-day meetings.
