1. Visiting our website

1.1 When you visit micdobro.com, we use a minimal number of cookies required for the website to function (e.g. language selection). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

1.2 Our hosting provider may collect basic server log data such as IP addresses, browser type and timestamps for security and performance purposes.

1.3 If we use analytics tools, they are configured to respect your privacy and comply with GDPR. Details of any analytics tools in use are listed under Data Processors below.

2. Communication with potential customers

2.1 When you contact us via email, contact form or booking system, we process the personal data you provide (typically name, email, phone number) in order to respond to your inquiry.

2.2 Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

2.3 We delete this data when it is clear whether you wish to use our services, unless a customer relationship is established.

3. Customers

3.1 When you become a customer, we process your name, contact details, company name, CVR number, payment information and communication related to the engagement.

3.2 Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

3.3 We retain customer data for a minimum of 5 years after the end of the customer relationship in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogforingsloven).

4. Booking and scheduling

4.1 We use TidyCal (booking.micdobro.com) for scheduling. When you book a session, TidyCal processes your name, email and any information you provide in the booking form.

4.2 Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract).

4.3 We may also use a pre-session intake form (Tally.so) to gather information relevant to the engagement. Data provided through the form is processed solely for the purpose of preparing for the session.

5. Newsletter

5.1 We send the Signal-to-Noise Ratio newsletter to subscribers who have actively opted in.

5.2 We process your email address (and name, if provided) for the purpose of sending the newsletter.

5.3 Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

5.4 You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email. If we have not sent a newsletter for 12 months, your consent lapses.

5.5 After unsubscription, we retain evidence of your previous consent for 2 years in accordance with the Danish Consumer Ombudsman’s guidelines.

6. Digital courses and products

6.1 When you purchase a course or digital product, we process your name, email, payment details and access credentials.

6.2 Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

6.3 Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

7. Bookkeeping

7.1 We are required to retain all accounting documents for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act. This includes invoices and related documents that may contain personal data such as name, address and service descriptions.

7.2 Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).

8. Data processors (subprocessor list)

8.1 We use the following external data processors. This list is maintained separately and updated when processors change.

Dinero (DK): Bookkeeping and invoicing.

Stripe (IE): Payment processing.

TidyCal (US): Booking and scheduling.

Tally.so (BE): Intake forms.

SendFox (US): Newsletter distribution and email automations.

Loom (US): Video recording and sharing.

BreezeDoc (DK): Document signing.

Bitwarden (US): Password management.

Effihub (DK): Time registration and customer portal.

DigitalOcean (US): Cloud hosting. Data center in EU (Germany).

OVH (FR): Cloud hosting.

8.2 We place high demands on our data processors and ensure that data processing agreements are in place to protect your personal data.

9. Disclosure and third-country transfers

9.1 We do not sell your personal data.

9.2 We only disclose personal data to our accountant (for bookkeeping), SKAT (tax authority) and Erhvervsstyrelsen (Danish Business Authority) as required by law.

9.3 Some of our data processors are located outside the EU/EEA. Where this is the case, we ensure adequate protection through EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

10. Your rights

10.1 Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access: You can request to see what data we hold about you.

Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate data.

Right to erasure: In certain cases, you can request deletion of your data.

Right to restriction: In certain cases, you can request that processing is restricted.

Right to data portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format.

Right to object: You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

11. Withdrawal of consent

11.1 Where processing is based on your consent (e.g. newsletter), you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
